President Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali announced on Wednesday that another two kilometres of road will be completed before the end of this year. He also said the transmission line to be built will be one and a half kilometres long.
President Ali directed Guyana Water Incorporated to develop the well and extend the supply to Coomacka Mines.
The government said development plans for Region 10 will not be withheld based on the region’s political outcome at the 2025 elections. It added that it intends to fulfil the housing needs of every applicant in Region 10. It also stated that it wants Linden and Region 10 to become a major production hub.
