LuLu Group has expressed a commitment to invest in Guyana, and a technical team from the group will visit Guyana within the next 30 days.
President Ali met M. A. Yusuff Ali during the three‑day state visit to Qatar. Mr Ali expressed a commitment to invest in Guyana. President Ali also met Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The official talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding investment cooperation. The leaders discussed cooperation relations between Qatar and Guyana, and exchanged views on several regional and international issues.
President Ali toured Education City in Al Rayyan. Education City Stadium, which has 40,000 seats, was constructed for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. President and First Lady toured the Qatar Foundation campus.
